Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you book a session or hire Sproutlets Consulting, LLC ("Sproutlets," "we," "us"). They are written in plain language on purpose. If your written proposal or quote says something different, the proposal wins for that project.

1. What we do

We provide business consulting, branding, design, systems, and launch services for small business owners. Every project starts with a written proposal or quote that lists the scope, deliverables, timeline, and price.

2. Scope and changes

We do the work described in your proposal. New requests or changes to the scope are welcome; we agree on them in writing, with any change to price or timeline, before the extra work starts.

3. Pricing and payment

• Our work is priced from a rate of $125 an hour, shown as fixed package prices in our catalog and proposals.
• Projects: 50% to start (this holds your place on the calendar) and 50% at handoff, before final files are delivered.
• Strategy Session: $250, paid when you book. It is credited toward a build you book within 30 days.
• Operating Partner: billed monthly, in advance.
• Prices are in US dollars. Third-party costs such as your domain, hosting, software subscriptions, stock photos, fonts, and printing are paid by you, directly or as approved reimbursements.

4. Cancellations and refunds

• If you cancel within 48 hours of paying your deposit, and before any work has begun, we refund the deposit in full.
• After that, or once work has begun, the deposit is nonrefundable.
• If you end a project partway through, you pay for the work completed to that point. Your deposit counts toward it.

5. Rescheduling sessions

You can reschedule a session for free with at least 24 hours of notice. With less notice, or if you miss the session, the session deposit is kept. We will always do our best to work with true emergencies.

6. Revisions

Each deliverable includes two rounds of revisions. Additional rounds are billed at $125 an hour, and we will tell you the estimate before we start them.

7. Your part

Projects stay on schedule when we receive content, logins, and approvals on time. If a project waits on you for more than 30 days, we may pause it and set a new timeline when you are ready.

8. Who owns the work

• You own the final deliverables once your invoice is paid in full.
• We keep ownership of our own tools, templates, methods, and working files.
• Fonts, stock images, software, and other third-party items are licensed to you under their own terms.
• We show client work in our portfolio only with your written permission.

9. In-person and travel

• In-person sessions are 2 hours for $250, including travel within 30 miles of Columbus, Ohio. 50% holds the date.
• From 30 to 100 miles, travel is added at $0.70 a mile.
• Beyond 100 miles, lodging, airfare, car, and meals are agreed in writing first, with a 50% deposit.

10. Not legal, tax, or financial advice

We are a consulting firm, not a law firm or a certified public accounting firm. Anything we share about legal setup, taxes, or money is general information. Please confirm those decisions with a licensed professional.

11. Results

We put real care into every project, but we cannot promise specific sales, rankings, or follow counts. Results depend on many things outside our control.

12. Confidentiality

We keep your business information private and use it only to do your work. We ask the same of you for our pricing, methods, and templates.

13. Outside platforms

Your site and tools may run on outside services such as Netlify, GoDaddy, Google, Canva, and social platforms. We are not responsible for their outages, policy changes, or fees.

14. Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service involved.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Franklin County, Ohio.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. The version in effect when you sign your proposal applies to that project.
